Fear on the streets
It was a Mash … a Monster Mash –
It was the annual Halloween night parade through the streets of East Wall …from the Youth Club to the recreation centre on Russell Avenue. Ghosts and ghoulies, monsters and monstrosities, blood suckers and bone eaters … we had them all. Spreading terror where ever they went, the end of their journey saw the fiends rewarded with a spectacular finale – fireworks, the traditional haunted house, goodie bags and even hot soup! The East Wall community has a Halloween celebration that is second to none …well done to all involved …the living and the dead!
