JF Homan : Account of his ambulance work and efforts for peace at outbreak of Civil War

John Francis Homan was the principal of the East Wall Boys School from 1895 to his retirement in 1926. He was also a volunteer with the St Johns Ambulance Brigade, and this is his account of his activity during the ‘Battle of Dublin’ (28th June to 5th July):
