As part of the Pride Of Place Festival, we chose the sunflower as a symbol to represent our area. Why? It’s bright, vibrant and it stands head and shoulders above the rest, just like East Wall!
For all in the community who were busy growing your flowers over the wonderfully sunny Summer months , now is your last chance to be part of the judging.
If you have a Fine, Big Sunflower, Ring John Mangan and he will arrive in no time to measure it .
There is a yet to be disclosed Prize for the tallest sunflower .
